Preparing one year before retirement
"And for you, when is retirement?". It's a classic question as soon as you approach sixty, and the answers are manifold. There are those who dread it, those who would like to continue working, those who, on the contrary, look forward to it with impatience, tired by working life... Retirement can be the transition from a full life to a potentially "empty" one. From one day to the next, you lose your sense of belonging to your company and the working world, as well as the social ties you've built up with your colleagues.
Change of pace, loss of professional status and social identity, fear of emptiness, of being left behind... Even for those who dream of it, retirement can be stressful. Preoccupied by the unknown and faced with fears, your employees run the risk of experiencing unnecessary discomfort, because everyone can prepare for it.
Our training approach is pragmatic: after raising awareness of any fears, but also of desires, we use a playful approach to help each person identify their sources of meaning and their three main motivating life goals for the years ahead. The training aims to remove any blockages and fears, and to unleash one's full potential so as to feel reassured about one's future.
Duration: training in two stages:-
Public: All employees aged 60 and over in an organization, company or association.
Prerequisites: open-mindedness, willingness to understand each other better and develop new skills.
Format: Face-to-face and/or distance learning and/or hybrid training.
Pedagogical method: Basic theoretical input, interactive exchanges and trainee role-playing, sharing experiences and best practices, co-dev, collective intelligence, exercises and role-playing in sub-groups, analysis and debriefing in plenary, formalization of individual action plan.
Learning method: 20% theory, 70% practice and 10% exchange of experience.
Assessment methods: self-positioning and self-assessment at the beginning and end of training to measure progress.
Option: Initially, you can offer only the awareness workshop.
At the end of the workshop, those wishing to go further can sign up for the one-day training course. This approach raises your employees' awareness of the issue and encourages them to take responsibility by inviting them to sign up for the training course on a voluntary basis, if they feel concerned.
