A high-performance team is one whose members complement each other and work effectively and calmly together. Team coaching is the accompaniment by a coach of a group of individuals with a common objective, with the aim of improving their measurable operational results. The coach accompanies the development of a team's collective performance, in a monitored and measured way, so that the operational result of the whole exceeds the potential of the sum of its members.
As in the world of sport, the team coach accompanies a manager and his or her colleagues, helping them to unleash the team's potential. The coach's mission is to enable the team to find its own solutions to the problems and challenges it faces. The coach acts as a "mirror" for the team, reflecting back to it the image of its collective functioning and process, while highlighting elements or mechanisms of which it may not have been aware, and which could be hindering its smooth operation.
Our coaching approach is highly pragmatic. Following a review of the objectives and expectations of the manager and team members, a customized support program is developed by the coach. The tools used include observation of work meetings and operational points, as well as individual and collective coaching, aimed at developing skills, team cohesion and the effectiveness of existing processes. The coach helps the team to build a motivating and realistic action plan to achieve its objective.
